I was so excited to wake up to the sound of rain this morning! It was so nice to snuggle back under my blankets and listen to the rain on my window. I can’t remember the last time I was able to sleep with my quilt on, instead of just a sheet. After this summer I don’t think I’ve ever anticipated fall so much! My friends at church were all complaining about the cold wet weather and I couldn’t stop smiling. I don’t know what it is about the clouds, but it just relaxes me. I am looking forward to reading on the couch, eating soup, wearing my favorite jeans, and running errands without sweating from hauling Macey in and out of the car. I love the rain, as long as it doesn’t last too long. = )
