Bear Lake is a lake with no bears but they do have famous raspberry shakes
We took our 2nd annual trip to Bear Lake with the Rensinks and Holly.
This was one of our rougher trips, due to many factors, but luckily not due to the amazing people we got to camp with. :)
The best part about looking back on the pictures though, is I remember more of the fun than I do the stress I was feeling. Time is a great thing sometimes.
It started out a little bit cold and rainy, but it didn’t last long and we got to enjoy 2 days on our own private backyard beach.
The girls spent lots of time in the sand.
These 2 bff’s spent lots of time on the kayak.
And everyone spent lots of time out in the water.
Everyone provided lots of entertainment trying tricks on the paddle boards we rented.
Julianne and I did some yoga on our turn, it was rather difficult and I think I spent more time in the water than on the board.
We at least both, kind of, nailed a warrior 1.
Crew faceplanted hard the first night. Luckily no stitches were needed, but he had some sweet road rash for a few weeks.
Ruby napped like a champ and gave me a chance to relax for a few moments each day.
The boys had to carry a sleeping Ruby up to camp while we got dinner prepped.
A funny moment…the kids were being annoying, so Brenden taught them how to play Kick the Can.
it was a good effort, but the boys and Ruby were all screaming and crying after 2 minutes. Typical. Good times.
Love these people and love them even more now that they’ve seen us at our worst and still want to be friends with us.
