September was a whirlwind of soccer (3 days a week), parks, neighbor kids, school projects, after school activities, and getting used to the ever increasing hectic lifestyle that is 4 kids.

Paul forced us out of bed on a Saturday morning to go see the sunrise in the mountains.

Ruby was the only one that didn’t mind.

We got donuts afterwards, so the rest of us quickly forgave him.

I feel like it’s been a non stop party around here with kids over to play 24/7.

I believe this was my most insane trip trip to target in recent memory.  3 boys and a Ruby is tough work while waiting in line to checkout.

it’s even better when we get to have our friends stay for dinner too.

Another neighborhood water fight.  This one proved slightly more violent than our one earlier in the summer and a few kids were hiding and crying by the end. :)

There has been constant soccer or football happening out front.  And my kids now refer to this area as “The Soccer Field”.

With the big kids at school all day, these boys rule the neighborhood until about 2:30.

and these 2 cute girls of course too.

When 2:30 hits, the kids throw their backpacks in the door, grab a snack, and head outside.  I still drag them in most nights for dinner.

and when homework must be done, it is done outside whenever possible.
It’s been nice having Macey and Miles both in school full day.

Crew, Ruby, and I have no trouble figuring out how to spend our time.

These 2 crack me up with their constant chatter in the backseat while we are running around during the day.

Ruby graduated from the stroller to her scooter for our canyon adventures.

love these mountains and that I still get to go on daytime adventures with these 2.

A few hours each week though we have to take Crew to preschool and it’s just me and the tiny destroyer.

We found Macey’s long lost diary key, that someone (Ruby) buried in the bottom on the aquafor jar. :)

Most days I do not know what to do with her, but at least I never get bored.

And really, they don’t get much cuter.

Ruby and I even started running with some of our friends in the mornings while Crew is at preschool.

We are slowly feeling less and less like we are going to die each week.

Random hiighlights this month included:

Crazy Hair Day

the School carnival.

I was waiting in line with Miles for one of the bounce houses and he looked up at me and told me I could leave him alone with his friends and that I should go find some of my mom friends. :)

Activity Days fashion show.

Orem updated some of their parks and we’ve been taking advantage.

And these 2 are always up to something exciting.

And between all the chaos I finally read this book.

It’s a new favorite and I’ve been trying to convince Macey to read it ever since.
