Ruby has been so crazy and fun this month, she deserves her own post.

The moment my back is turned, this girl gets into something.

Whether it is stealing a watermelon rind out of the garbage can.

Or causing some sort of mischief in the bathroom.

Here she is telling me “Go Outside.  Outside!”  It’s hard to keep anything stocked in our freezer.  waffles, toaster strudels, chocolate chips, popsicles, icecream…you name it, she will eat it.  yes, we have tried to lock our freezer, she just keeps breaking it.  Luckily, the lock on our pantry has worked, so i haven’t had to worry about her climbing up those shelves and getting cereal everywhere ALL the time.

She loves to cook us things in her kitchen.

Left over items from her lunch and dinner can often be found in her fridge, sink, oven or microwave.

Ruby loves to play with her friends and baby dolls.

I love when her and Ella see each other across the grass and run in for a hug.

She also locked us out of the house and terrorized it while I had to run around to hop the backfence to get in.

She keeps me on my toes and is the reason I never get anything done.

She also has become a neighborhood bully of sorts and tends to push, hit and tackle whenever she feels so inclined.  I do not think I have ever put a child in timeout as much as I have had to with her.

While she most definitely has a wild and rebellious side, there is a sweet side to her too.  Anytime she meets anyone new she instantly calls them her friend.  She loves to greet the neighborhood moms and thinks they all want to hug and hold her.  She is constantly asking me for a huggle and wraps her arms tight around my neck and says “I love you, mama”.  She is very polite and never forgets to say “please” and “thank you”.  The most exciting thing that she has accomplished this month though is, she is actually keeping her clothes and diaper on during naps and bedtime, so no more taping her diaper on!!!!!

We love this 2 year old Ruby.
