To celebrate summer starting and to see if we were prepared for our Olympic National Park camping trip, we headed up Provo canyon for a few days.

These kids are in their element camping.

Macey was our pro marshmallow roaster

We took the kids fishing.  We did not catch anything, but it was exciting non the less.

Miles was dangerous with his pole, not really a surprise there.

While waiting to use the one vault toilet, I got to teach Macey how to make flower crowns.

Ruby did not appreciate hers and destroyed it as fast as possible.

The hammock provided plenty of entertainment and injuries.

It eventually had to be taken down though, cause the kids were getting too wild with it.

There was plenty of room to explore behind our camping spot.

We made a fort.

Explored.

Caught Bugs.

Picked Flowers

I always had a lovely “vase” of flowers on my picnic table.

And played a lot of hide and go seek (my favorite part of the trip).

We of course went on a hike.

Ate amazing campfire food.

played games.

And I loved getting to hang out with these kids without tons of distractions and friends around.

This pretty much sums up Ruby the entire trip. . . Wild Woman.

One of the best parts about camping is they are so tired, they sleep amazing.

Love these people of mine.
