Pretty sure Macey has a future with America’s Next Top Model. Macey really brought it for her 5th Birthday Photo Shoot. She picked the location, helped move Miles’ crib out of the way, and then worked it for the camera without any direction from me.

I don’t know where she comes up with these things, but I have to say I love it and obviously need to be taking a few notes for myself.

I know I say it every year, but I cannot believe she’s 5! While I am sad she’s getting so big, I’m also finding I love having this little friend to hang out and chat with all the time (as long as I get a little break each day).

We went to mall just us last week and for the first time she loved looking at the all the clothes with me! She was showing me all these outfits she thought were cute and they actually were! I of course caved and bought her the adorable flats she was eyeing, as well as a few graphic tees she wanted. I envisioned many fun shopping trips together in the future.

So, while I’ll shed a few (or a lot of ) tears over leaving toddlerhood behind, I find I’m excited for our next stage. But, then again kindergarten registration starts this week…makes me want to cry just thinking about it.
