This year I pretty much had a Birthday Week, it was amazing. I highly recommend making your celebration last an entire week.

My week began with being treated to breakfast at Kneaders by 2 of my favorite teenagers and getting to talk about things that made me feel like I was 18 again.

Then, we got babysitters and went out on a hot date with our favorite couple to double with, The Bartletts.

First, we went to Pirate Island Pizza. Emily impressed me both with her pirate accent and her accuracy at the shooting gallery.

Next, we played mini golf at Trafalga.

Since I won, I got to pick where we went for dessert. I have a weak spot for the Molten Lava Cake at Chili’s, so that is where we ended up.

On my actual birthday I decided I wanted to spend the day at the Lindon Pool and The Bartletts and Jenni joined us. It was a perfect pool day. I even got to spend about 20 min laying in the sun on my lounge chair while Paul took Macey on the water slide for the millionth time and Miles napped in his stroller, that pretty much made my day.

Paul and Jake spent most of their time at the Flow Rider

Emily snagged us an awesome spot with shade.

You can barely see Macey’s arms in the air as her and Paul went down the water slide.

Miles loved the floaty we got him and he spent most of his time cruising down the Lazy River

Then, my birthday ended with Emily and I talking about our next trip to see each other and saying good bye until then.

I guess I don’t mind getting too old, if I can have birthday’s that make me feel young. :)
